Soon You Can Play Pokies at Full Tilt Poker

A rebranding is on the horizon for popular online poker room, Full Tilt Poker. To attract a wider range of players, the company will be launching casino-style games, including pokies and table games.

Full Tilt Poker returned to the online poker world in November 2012, after spending a year offline due to issues with the American Department of Justice. The site was bought by former competitor PokerStars and now the two sites have found that they are simply cannibalizing each other’s business.

To put an end to this, PokerStars has decided that Full Tilt will become a complete online gaming site rather than solely an online poker room. The website will be renamed Full Tilt Gaming, and players will be able to play slots, roulette, blackjack, baccarat and craps. The software provider for the new games has yet to be decided.

“While adding new games, we remain committed to building our leadership in poker with PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker and continuing to deliver the highest quality poker experience to players,” reads a statement from Rational Group, which operates Full Tilt.

The shift will likely take place before the end of 2013. In the meantime, PokerStars will remain a poker-only website.
